Rise Against Hunger

Rise Against Hunger is an international nonprofit organization growing the global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies. 

We are on the road to end hunger, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #2 of Zero Hunger. From the implementation of sustainable community development projects to our meal packaging program that harnesses the passion of local volunteers, we strive to make an impact on hunger by building resilience, self-sufficiency, and empowerment in communities worldwide. Our pathways to end hunger include:

- Nourishing Lives: While our overall goal is to end hunger, communities still need to satisfy their basic human need for food right now. This is when we ship our volunteer-packaged meals overseas.

- Empowering Communities: We bolster agricultural production and incomes through programs promoting improved agricultural methods, business skills and market access.

- Responding to Emergencies: Whether it is a natural or man-made disaster, food is always a necessity. We work though our network of in-country partners to address these needs when chaos and catastrophe strike.
