Mission: To improve the quality of life of dogs in need.

Vision: All dogs in Indianapolis are living in humane conditions. 

FIDO Indy focuses our services on dogs in need in Indianapolis. Our programs started assisting dogs living continuously tethered or chained and have evolved over the years to also fill other animal welfare gaps in our community. We help the dogs by helping their people care for them, along with helping any cats also in the home. We have an Outreach Program to go to the homes of outside dogs and assist their owners one-on-one with improving their dogs' lives. We have a Pet Food Pantry program to assist owners with food and supplies for their pets. We have a Spay/Neuter program to help with access barriers to spay/neuter by providing transportation and covering the bulk of the cost of surgery and vaccines. And we have a Fencing Program that assists with building fences for dogs that are continuously tethered or not able to securely access their yard.
