Brookside
Community Development Corporation seeks to create opportunities for renewal and
transformation in the lives of people living in the Brookside neighborhood on
the Near Eastside of Indianapolis. We adopt a holistic approach to renewal and
focus on four impact ministries:
PLAY
Brookside Play helps kids move past trauma and prepare for a brighter future. We use
structured play focused on trauma-sensitive development and emotional,
spiritual, physical, and academic growth. Our goal is to create opportunities
for renewal and transformation in the lives of families and children living in
the Brookside neighborhood on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis.
REENTRY
Brookside
Reentry cares for those reentering society from incarceration, homelessness,
and addiction. We strive to create opportunities for renewal and transformation
in the lives of people living in the Brookside neighborhood on the Near
Eastside of Indianapolis by seeing each person as an individual, not a
statistic. We help them overcome barriers by providing community and support.
HOUSING
Brookside
Housing provides safe and affordable housing to individuals and families living
in the Brookside neighborhood on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis through a
community-centric approach. We create opportunities for renewal and
transformation by providing dignity, accountability, and community.
FOOD CO-OP
Brookside
Community Development Corporation seeks to create opportunities for renewal and
transformation in the lives of people living in the Brookside neighborhood on
the Near Eastside of Indianapolis. Our food co-op distributes food to community
members in need. We ensure a welcoming and supportive environment. The goal is
to provide consistent access to healthy food while fostering a sense of
community and mutual support among participants.
