Set-up Volunteers:
Timeframe: Sept. 17 2021, 4:30-7pm
# of volunteers needed: 2
Dress Code: Wear whatever you need to move freely, but if you stay for the event, please change into botanically-inspired semi formal clothing or costume
Reports to: Sherrell Robinson
Duties: Set-up volunteers will work with Logistics Chair Sherrell Robinson to load in, decorate, and arrange the space before guests arrive.

Registration/Check-out Volunteers:
Timeframe: Sept. 17 2021, 5:30-10:30pm
# of volunteers needed: 1
Dress Code: Wear botanically-inspired semi formal clothing or costume
Special requirements: must bring a laptop with wifi capabilities
Reports to: Emily Slaven
Duties: Arrive early to train on the registration and check-out system Greater Giving. After you are trained, you will help to check guests in as they arrive, enter bids from bid sheets into Greater Giving so that customers are charged for their event purchases, and then assist customers as they check out for the night.

Greeters/Floaters
Timeframe: Sept. 17, 2021 5:45-10:30pm
# of volunteers needed: 3
Dress Code: Wear botanically-inspired semi formal clothing or costume
Report to: Sandy Messner
Duties: Arrive at 6:30 to train, and then when the event starts, stand close to the entrance to greet people as they enter, answer questions, and help them find their tables. Once the evening’s program has begun and food has been served, ask volunteers if they would like to go into the volunteer room to eat. Fill in for their spot until they return, and then find a new person to relieve until everyone has eaten. Fill in for other volunteers as needed throughout the night.

Silent Auction Table Volunteers:
Timeframe: Sept. 17, 2021 5:30-10:30pm
# of volunteers needed: 1
Dress Code: Wear botanically-inspired semi formal clothing or costume
Report to: Chris Fedor
Duties: Arrive early to learn how to bid for customers using a tablet and to set up the silent auction table. Stand next to the silent auction table and assist attendees with online bidding as needed (tablet provided.) When the silent auction ends, help distribute the winnings to people as they check out. At the end of the night, break down the silent auction table and help load leftover items in cars.

Heads and Tails/Auction recording volunteers
Timeframe: Sept. 17, 2021 5:45-8:30pm
# of volunteers needed: 3

Dress Code: Wear botanically-inspired semi formal clothing or costume
Report to: Sandy Messner
Duties: Arrive early to train. Circulate around the event with beads to sell for the game “Heads and Tails.” Explain the game to customers and record their names and bidder numbers on a clipboard when customers buy them for $5. This duty will end once the event program has begun. Turn in the bid sheets to the registration area.Then, be prepared to get close to the stage, and record winning bidders’ numbers for the live auction and silent auction. Bring your list of winning bidder numbers and package numbers to the registration area for recording.

Event tear-down:
Timeframe: Sept. 17, 2021 10:30-11:15pm
# of volunteers needed: all hands on deck
Dress Code: Wear botanically-inspired semi formal clothing or costume
Report to: Sandy Messner
After the event ends at 10:30, help to disassemble, pack, and load out all items owned by the Arthritis Foundation into waiting vehicles. Stay until all items have been loaded and removed.
