EVENT DAY VOLUNTEER - 2022 KOMEN INDIANAPOLIS MORE THAN PINK WALK

The 2022 Komen Indianapolis MORE THAN PINK Walk is fast approaching on Saturday, October 8, and we are looking for passionate people to help ensure this year’s walk is a success! Volunteers play a vital role in the success of the MORE THAN PINK Walk. When you volunteer your time, you help Susan G. Komen invest in more groundbreaking breast cancer research AND provide real-time assistance to help with medical treatment, prescriptions, transportation, and so much more. There are many ways for individuals and groups to get involved and make an impact: - Pillar Tents (10/8/2022, 8:00-11:00 AM) > Our Mission Pillar tents RESEARCH, CARE, COMMUNITY, and ACTION are the educational component to our event where volunteers have the opportunity to speak with attendees about Komen's 360-degree approach to fighting breast cancer. All volunteers will be given a short training before the event on how to talk about their pillar. - Registration (10/8/2022, 8:00-11:00 AM) > Volunteers will assist participants with the registration process. - General Support (10/8/2022, 8:00-11:00 AM) > Volunteers will assist with final Set Up and provide Walk staff support where needed.
