Description

Each individual student may decide what type of activities they'd like to complete, 1) Direct care volunteers visit and spend time with patients, providing companionship, conversation, activities, music, reading, etc. 2) Indirect volunteers provide administrative support to the organization and can conduct tuck-in calls, answer phones in the office, assist with office activities, such as assisting with audits, organizing supplies, putting together activity kits for patients, etc. Ideally a hybrid position is ideal in which, volunteers visit a patient and also assist in the office as needed or with events. We adhere to the comfort of each individual student and the specific tasks they desire to complete most whether related to current experience or future career aspects.
